" The Brite Star Kids are a group of friends who live in the town of Brite Star. Their name was invented by the teacher who gives her students an award for performing acts of kindness. The Brite Star Kids stories are intended to teach and reinforce living skills that result in modeling positive behavior to young children. A Classroom Surprise introduces the Brite Star Kids to three people who serve their community. The class gets a first-hand look at the jobs of fireman, policeman and nurse."
