Acts of the Apostles

The "Acts of the Apostles" follows the continued ministries of Jesus' disciples and the many first-century followers who recognized Him as the Messiah. After Jesus' ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit, the Gospel (Good News) spread rapidly, but not without much persecution. The book of Acts also records the dramatic conversion of Saul to Paul and his subsequent missionary journeys, which greatly expanded the reach of this new faith.
