Embracing Parkinson's is a story about a special friendship between two individuals brought together by a common interest, Parkinson's disease (PD). Frank was diagnosed with PD in August 2007. He was referred to Joe, a local movement disorder specialist, by Johns Hopkins Neurology in early 2008.
From their first meeting, Frank and Joe shared a common vision and belief in using the life lessons taught from the game of football - dedication, commitment, perseverance and overcoming adversity – to compete with PD.
