Barack was distraught. She sought the help of her grandmother. However, she got more condemnation.
Luckily, God pleased few friends in her path who would share a light of true grace: a high school friend who shared with her the experience of life with Jesus.
Barack was willing to follow her, but her grandmother refused to give her permission to go, as she was brainwashed to believe that Jesus is only for Jews not Africans.
Barack swore to follow Jesus when she got to university. However, the devil did all he could to make sure she didn't get admission.
Later, we see Barack share the experience of Jesus Christ with her family and community, and Matt comes as Jonah who was sent to Nineveh.
Matt thought he was going to pursue the love of Barack, but God used him to share his love first with the people at Barack's village.
In the story, we learn that it is wise to have friends who have positive influences in our lives, and to always ask God as he promises to direct our paths or steps to give us a spirit of listening or sound mind.
