When an injured woman arrives on his snowy farm threatening his life, Kramer is less happy with her intrusion than he is with her pointing a gun to his face and demanding his help. Danica is determined to shut Kramer out of her troubles, until his quiet strength and unconditional concern make her almost forget why she's seeking refuge. Despite Kramer's concern with Danica's inexplicable presence on his farm and Danica's misgivings about her future, the pair begin to form an attachment.
