Maybe it's a load of bull, maybe not. But it's been too damned quiet, and Scratch's intuition tells him it's time to check things out for himself. So, he's headed into the badlands where no one's safe, to see if that vamp was blowing smoke, or if a war is coming. And if it's war they want, it's war they'll have.
