Stan is in prison, convicted of a crime he swears he didn't commit, and desperate to prove his innocence. And girlfriend Billie, is determined to help him. Kelly, his victim, is struggling to cope after a horrific ordeal that left her traumatized and lonely. For Billie, who has her own secrets and demons in her past, enlisting a private detective to look for vital evidence that might set Stan free is a way out of this nightmare. Billie has complete faith in Stan but when she hears Kelly's version of events, cracks begin to appear and her faith wavers.
