Me: Where are you taking me?
Beck: Where do you want to go?
Me: Where do you normally take your DATES?
Beck: I don't DATE
Me: Ok where would be your usual pre-hook-up dinner?
Beck: I have a few places in mind
Me: Great. I don't want to be anywhere near any of those places
I see dots appear, but disappear. Then appear again, then disappear. It takes a few minutes, but my phone eventually dings.
Beck: Change of plans
Beck: Not doing 'dinner'
Beck: We're going on a date
Beck: This is nonnegotiable
Me: ?
Me: On one condition…. Are you finally going to tell me why you call me Opal?
