About

This short audio presentation is designed to bring a clear understanding of relaxation to enhance your daily life, and to give you an opportunity to focus and reflect on the level of effective relaxation currently in your life. We look forward to summertime as an opportunity to break from routines and to relax. Even if the weather isn't great, our bodies and minds need rest and relaxation. And the more we feel relaxed and at ease, the more enjoyable life becomes. A day at the beach or lazing by the pool can be a great way to simply be" - for a while. But just breathing deeply and smiling, are the most natural ways to feel relaxed. Smiling releases endorphins - the "happy chemicals" in our brain that make us feel good. How this audio learning experience works This audio presentation has been designed using an experiential learning model, Kolb, D. A. (1984): concrete learning, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. By taking this approach we hope to cater for all learning styles. You will be given specific new information in the recording usually as key tips", explanations" and quotes". You will be led through a gentle but positive meditative reflection process to assist you before conceptualisation and then putting your new skills into practice. You will be encouraged to return to the recording from time to time to re-listen and reinforce your learning and the desired changes in your life. Enjoy!
