This book is written by Sawaran Singh and tells the story of Shaheed Bhai Tara Singh of village Wan. Bhai Tara Singh's father, Bhai Gurdas, had taken Amrit during the time of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and Bhai Gurdas Singh also bravely fought in the battles of Banda Singh Bahadur. Bhai Tara Singh was the eldest of five sons. He took Amrit under the leadership of Bhai Mani Singh Ji and became a fully prepared Sikh warrior. Before taking Amrit, Bhai Tara Singh managed his family farming, and their land was near village Wan. Bhai Tara Singh fought bravely until his last breath and became a fear for the enemy. After many Singhs were martyred, he also achieved martyrdom. There were only 21 Singhs in total, while the enemy side had a large army with cannons and heavy weapons. The Singhs killed hundreds of enemies and finally gave their lives, becoming immortal while celebrating victory.
