About

Harden the F#*k Up!
In today's society, it can be tough to be a man. How often have you heard boys and men told to be tough and strong, or not show weakness, or to not cry? To ask for help or talk about it will show you are weak.
These beliefs and attitudes have been ingrained from a very young age, and it is destroying our men and their families. Depression and mental health issues are rising. In Australia we lose more than seven men to suicide each day.
This needs to change NOW!
Soften the F#*k Up! is a guidebook for adults struggling with the aftermath of emotional trauma. Brett Dellar lived with depression for 30 years, almost all of his adult life, as a result of unresolved childhood trauma, never addressing the underlying cause or understanding the impact of being seen as a man in todays society.
Brett shares the journey of how he overcame his depression at the age of 50 and the lessons, tools and skills he learned along the way.
Soften the F#*k Up! is a book about the challenges men face and the importance of mental and emotional health. It will provide a deeper understanding and insight into how and why men struggle with mental and emotional challenges, as well as provide the tools and skills to help turn life around.
This is a hope-filled, love-filled and purpose-filled memoir by a man who is candid about his own struggles and also offers insights and advice for men in today's society. You will not only be inspired to change your life, but also be shown how to take the steps necessary to do so.
