About

This deeply relaxing 28-minute meditation introduces the powerful technique of somatic tracking, a compassionate approach that involves observing physical sensations with calm curiosity rather than resistance.

Chronic pain and ongoing physical discomfort can often be amplified by fear, tension, and a sensitised nervous system. During the meditation, you will be gently led into a safe and centred state where you can begin to soften fear and transform your relationship with sensations. Instead of pushing discomfort away, you will learn to turn towards it with gentle awareness. This process helps interrupt the fear-pain cycle and gradually retrains the mind and body to respond with greater ease and balance.

Through slow, conscious breathing and progressive relaxation, you will learn to soothe your nervous system and release layers of protective tension held in the body. As your breath deepens and your muscles relax, you will begin to feel grounded, supported, and safe in the present moment.

You will be guided to notice sensations without judgement, simply observing their qualities, movements, and subtle changes. You may begin to realise that sensations are not fixed, and that when fear softens, the nervous system can begin to settle. With regular practice, this shift in awareness can support a reduction in pain intensity over time.

Reassuring affirmations woven throughout the session reinforce feelings of safety and inner harmony.
