In a quaint New England town stands a dark, weathered, seven-gabled house with a very old curse. The curse, brought on by the sins of extreme pride and greed, plagues the final members of the Pyncheon family. Impoverished and sickly, the family remains in the decaying mansion, haunted by the ghosts of their wicked ancestors.
