Demons come through portals from other worlds. In response the Earth Mother created a group of shape shifters from the world's most vicious predators, called Keepers, to protect earth from the threat. Obie, a wereotter and the Keeper of North Georgia, walks a tightrope between the will of the Earth Mother and keeping peace in the region. With tensions between the Elvin Nation and a group of shifters, the Tortured Occult Motorcycle Club, running hot Obie has to navigate local politics to get everyone working together. When people start disappearing Obie uncovers a plot by a mysterious organization that wants to expose non humans and make magic mainstream.
