Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) is still one of the most important philosophers. One of his best-known writings, in addition to the great reviews, is his late work "To Eternal Peace. A Philosophical Design" (1795). The many points dealt with in this philosophical essay in the form of a state treaty, which contain a secret article and an extensive appendix, include not only the question of how states can ensure lasting peace among themselves or what the right of common ownership of the surface of the Earth as a spherical surface means, but also the problem of why the republic is preferable to democracy or aristocracy. The articles and the appendix are read in this audiobook in the version of the second, extended edition from 1796, with the "Second addition: Secret article on eternal peace".
