On Cobra Island, the Joes rescue a disguised-as-Ripcord Zartan and unknowingly head back to G.I. Joe headquarters. Meanwhile, Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow slice their way through Cobra Island's bunker to get to Zartan. But if Zartan's already with the Joes, then who is escaping in the Firebat?
