About

1 Corinthians is an expositional commentary, Bible study, and daily devotional guide for Christians of all maturity to help readers grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The book is divided into 18 chapters and 18 lessons. Every lesson starts with a prayer followed by exposition, application, and prayer. A careful reading, study, meditation, and application of scripture will enable readers to grow spiritually, mature in the faith, and be able to rightly divide the word of truth. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work, 2 Timothy 3: 16-17. Even though we are separated from 1 Corinthians by 2000 years of cultural, historical, geographical, and linguistic gap, the teachings of 1 Corinthians can be applied to the 21st-century church by utilizing hermeneutics. The author has given a clear background and simple explanations of every passage in 1 Corinthians. At the end of each lesson, he gave a devotional application and prayer. These 18 lessons can be used as a bible study guide over 18 weeks. Any reader who goes through this study guide carefully will gain a good foundational understanding of 1 Corinthians.
