Even though we are separated from 1 Corinthians by 2000 years of cultural, historical, geographical, and linguistic gap, the teachings of 1 Corinthians can be applied to the 21st-century church by utilizing hermeneutics. The author has given a clear background and simple explanations of every passage in 1 Corinthians. At the end of each lesson, he gave a devotional application and prayer.
