Nina Palmo is a sociologist, university lecturer, and outdoor enthusiast. She spent her childhood in Finland and Michigan before making her way to Texas. Her favorite childhood memories include ice skating on frozen ponds during Finnish winters and taking camping road trips with her extended family across the United States. She now lives in the Austin, Texas area with her husband, two daughters, and an adventure dog.
