Corrective church discipline is probably the most difficult task of a church and its leaders. It's often time-consuming, ugly, has fallout, and usually involves criticism. Therefore, rather than deal with the difficulties of implementing church discipline, we often look for ways to get around it, so we don't have to deal with the problems it might entail.
This might be an easier approach, but it's not the biblical approach. This book tackles this important doctrine head-on and seeks to let God say what He intended to say about church discipline. After all, He is the one, who spoke about it in the first place.
