In this edition, we chose to focus more on drug classes rather than on individual drugs, eliminate unnecessary detail such as chemical structures, and maintain emphasis on structure–activity relationships in drug action and development.The material was taken from well- known sources like Lippincott's Pharmacology, Katzung, JP, and from the work of Dr. Aneeza Amjad and Dr. Hassan Muhammad then rectified and corrected in the time period of 1 year. Major source of book includes from the notes were prepared by me during my degree period. Dr. Muhammad Arsalan Ali Sajid (Pharm-D, MD/MBBS, MPhil., MA, PhD is serving as an Assistant professor at department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology at Tashkent Medical Academy Urgench Branch, Khorezm, Uzbekistan.
