Shelley is a young teenager who has trouble adjusting to and following rules at home and school. She starts experimenting with Cannabis and loves the feeling it brings about. It doesn't take long before Shelley moves on to heavier substances. This brings her into trouble with her parents as well as in school Her troublesome behaviour and running away from home, as well as her neglective attitude towards her employers costs her dearly. She becomes so dependant on Nyaupe that it drives her to the brink of self-destruction. With the help of her parents she manages to crawl from the pits of Hellfor a while, just to relapse again and carry on with her olw way of living.
