"Oh, I'd like to go to school with the boys," Terry declared unhesitatingly. "You would like to go to school?" her father said very gravely; "well, now, that's funny, for school-not precisely a boys' school, but school does happen to be just exactly where you're going." Terry stopped and gasped. "I'm going to school!" she cried, breathlessly and unbelievingly. "Yes," said the Major; "you're going to school, Terry!"
And so begin Terry's adventures at school, where she makes friends, enemies, and scrapes a most unexpected and fulfilling acquaintance.
