About

The IMELS has fostered, within this project, knowledge sharing on CSA, the creation and the implementation of GACSA, and the development of initiatives to support developing countries in their international commitments for climate change and sustainable development in the field of agriculture and food security. The various activities and products described in this publication, show the successes of the project in supporting efforts of filling knowledge and implementation gaps, while developing assessments and tools for promotion and implementation of CSA actions. The Project successfully supported the development of several knowledge products such as technical briefs, compendia and e-learning courses, providing a solid base for strengthening capacity on CSA. Over the course of the Project, diverse consultative events (such as workshops, seminars and webinars), were organized, facilitating the knowledge exchange amongst experts, researchers and practitioners. These served as a venue for debate and discussions on defining priority work areas and outputs, as well as to share experiences and lessons learned, providing space for partnerships between the various groups of stakeholders, aimed at building a strong knowledge community that may have a significant role in implementing CSA across countries and regions.
