When Warren and Darragh start senior national school, both have very special companions to take with them. Fortunately, their school caters to companion aliens and dragons. The boys slowly realize that they have to train these companions that have turned up but that they are not without assistance. Mysterious doors and cracks in space and time lead the boys and their friends on a very strange journey. This mysterious school is full of surprises, and the boys even surprise themselves.
