Over 3,000 years of harmony and peace was shattered on Manza by the beginning of the Twelve Species War. One individual, bent on making sure their species was among the ruling elite on the planet, sparked many decades of bloodshed throughout the land.
Toward the end of the war, one member of each of the three remaining species met in secret to discuss a truce and a way forward to bring life and happiness back to their planet. Their solution, though not endorsed by any of the species' rulers, was to craft a new, secret council to protect the planet at all costs. All of the members swore their lives to this purpose and agreed to face anything that threatened the globe as a whole.
Having forged a public peace and a secret agenda with everyone's interest at its core, the council turned its attention to a problem long ignored during and shortly after the war. The reality that their planet and all life on it will succumb to famine if the planet's health is not restored presented the gravest of threats.
With little information as to the cause of the famine, the group must find aid and information where they can, use what little magic is left, deceive their own species' leaders, and trust the very species they recently fought against. They must also do it while keeping their council a secret, their egos in check and their mission a mystery... from everyone.
