About

We don't always remember moments in order - we remember them in intensity.

Some memories arrive like whispers in the night. Others scream in our ears long after the world has gone quiet. And some - the ones we try to forget - come back dressed in metaphor, in story, in dreams we write down just to survive them.

This collection is a journey through such memories.

In Between Silence and Sunrise, you will not find a traditional memoir. There are no bullet points, no linear plot, no resume of life events. What you will find instead is a soul speaking - sometimes in sorrow, sometimes in stillness, sometimes in sweetness and stubborn laughter. These are the fragments that make a life.

There are pieces written in the shadow of pain, of unanswered prayers, of identity questioned and reclaimed. There are others that hold the soft rebellion of a smile, the sacredness of memory, the kind of laughter that follows discipline and trouble and missing thread money.

Not all darkness is despair.

Not all light leads to salvation.

Sometimes, we are born into expectation before we even understand our name.

This is not a story of someone who figured everything out. This is a story of someone who kept going.

I offer this to anyone who has ever doubted, who has ever waited too long for the silence to speak, or who has wondered if the sunrise would ever come. The truth is - it does. But before it arrives, there is a space we all must pass through.

This book lives in that space.

Somewhere between silence & sunrise.
