About

In this book, I have explored the Spanish poet, Federico Garcia Lorca and has curiosity with the Duende and its association with the ancient music of Spain. I will discuss his discoveries which he shared in his breakthrough lecture in Argentina in 1933, entitled, "Theory and Play of the Duende." It cemented the connection between Poet and the Duende. Later during his sojourn in New York City, he delved deeper into the American musical traditions of blues, jazz and negro spirituals which helped him hone his theory that the Duende was connected to" dark sound".
