What began as monthly letters soon evolved into The Captain's Cave, a story sparked by the students' own ideas-one they hoped Susea would bring to life.During library lessons and lunchtime sessions, every student contributed to the illustrations using a range of mixed media, including stamping, fingerprint art, collage materials, and watercolours. This collaborative journey has created more than a book: it has woven together imagination, creativity, and the joy of reading into a project the whole school community is proud to share.
