After her mother's sudden death, caused by several gunshots in the back, Hope Spencer is determined to find out who the killer is and why her mother was murdered. Hope wants justice. Nobody was going to take her beloved mom away from her and not get punished. When her father, the sheriff, and her fiance claim there isn't enough evidence to investigate, she plans to set off on her own, despite being told not to go.
