The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the world's most famous church, beloved by Christians throughout the world and visited by million every year. It can be a very complex and confusing place to visit as today's church is the result of 1700 years of challenge, change, destruction and resurrection. This well-illustrated guide by Dr Deslee Campbell, assisted by a team of photographers, was produced to celebrate its 1700 years of history from 326 to 2026, and to assist pilgrims to understand it, appreciate it and to marvel at its recent restoration. Deslee Campbell, a former teacher of modern history, who worked in the field of educational psychology andcounselling.She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New South Wales, a Diploma in Education from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma in School Counselling from U.W.S/Nepean.She was has a Masters degree fromMacquarie University in early Christian Studies and a Phd from Sydney University.Deslee has visited Israel nine times, the first being in January 1970. During Passover 1990 Deslee was one of threeAustralians to visit the U.S.S.R. Since 1988 Deslee, and her late husband John, .they lived with their three sons and their adopted daughter in Sydney and attend a local Anglican Church in Sydney, Now widowed, Deslee has four children and three grandchildren.Her published works include the sequel novel, Love is a Journey, which follows Karen Evan's career as a nurse.With her son, Rev.
