"The cover shows a father, mother, boy and girl toasting marshmallows over a campfire. Their tent is in the background among pine trees. Two-page colored illustrations surround the simple text and a box enclosing a safety tip. The family picks out a site for the fire away from the brush, they surround it with rocks. They gather wood and get a bucket of water. The mother lights the fire. When the father and daughter go off to gather more sticks, the mother and the boy stay with the fire.
