About

Zimife, the youngest child of the Ike-Stevens, gets pregnant after an impulsive Valentine's Day date with Tobore, a youth corps member with whom she has been stuck on the talking stage. After a botched abortion plan, she has to reckon with the reality of being pregnant as an unmarried undergraduate. With her family, her best friend Belema, and baby daddy Tobore, Zimife's life tumbles into a whirlwind of emotions and reckonings. Friendships are tested and family ties are strained. Zimife risks losing it all and must confront her selfishness and prove that she is worthy of the love and sacrifices of those closest to her. This is an emotionally charged story of survival, sacrifices, and a journey to profound personal growth.

Chiziterem Chijioke is a Nigerian writer, born and raised in Lagos. She is a Media and Communications Professional with a degree in Mass Communication.
