We live in a simulation. Death/Site allows you to access that simulation. With it, you can predict the deaths of anyone for as long as you have their contact information, and if you don't want them dead, you predict whether they'd kill someone. He had two more to predict. Afterwards, he'd be free, not to mention his collateral. If he didn't predict three deaths total, his collateral would go into a coma and he had to kill another three to save em. If he didn't, they'd die. He planned for everything, but the dreaded reality of his mother finding out about the site and a secret he wished to keep for the rest of his life.
