Determined to Serve

JoAnn dreamed of adventure and travel well beyond the boundaries of the eastern U.S. That dream changed to contentment after marrying Daniel, having two children, and building a lovely home and a fulfilling nursing career. Then, in June 1963, the opportunity of a lifetime fell into their laps-two years in Vietnam with the Ohio University International Teacher Development Program. She would not only travel, but also live in a foreign country, serving others. What an adventure to be had.
