About

Diseased Intentions is the direct sequel to Daniel's debut suspense-thriller, The Taste Beneath. Set in post war Surrey, UK, the story picks up only a couple of months after the 'Termite Conflict', and follows Ryan as he does his best to repair from the battles, while also accepting a new governing body giving them orders. Expect the same tension and depravity, while also having the world open up beyond the Surrey borders, seeing how the rest of the continent is healing from The Fast War.
There are secrets and schemes at play, running deeper than they have any right and with the heavily decreased population. Some will destroy everything if they aren't allowed to control it. Maybe the world didn't change, or learn from it's previous mistakes.

Synopsis:

It's been two months since Penbrook Vineyard was liberated from the conflict in Europe, and the community is still healing from the scars it bears.
Even with the prospect of a safer future, Ryan is torn between accepting the new laws thrust upon them, or keeping his guard up and playing by his own rules. He knows the greater enemy is still out there, but he doesn't know just how close it is
