Este libro tiene como propósito explorar los alcances de la investigación etnográfica en el campo del patrimonio cultural. Lo hace desde ejercicios situados en diferentes lugares y contextos que, producto de pesquisas en terreno y reflexiones alrededor de prácticas y conceptos, propone nuevos caminos y perspectivas para investigar la relación entre actores sociales y las manifestaciones del patrimonio cultural. El volumen presenta una diversidad de trabajos de Iberoamérica, que exploran las formas en que los patrimonios tienen lugar y sentido desde el lugar de sus hacedores. Al tiempo, plantea rutas metodológicas que complementan el alcance de los inventarios y las listas, herramientas de trabajo más convencionales en los estudios del patrimonio. Los trabajos de las y los autores cruzan por temáticas que van desde el chamanismo y el reencantamiento del mundo en España, o las manifestaciones vivas de una viga de oro y un camino que camina como entidades culturales en Boyacá, pasando por los cantos de trabajo en la vaquería de los llanos orientales, los conflictos entre la legislación y el mantenimiento de los bienes patrimoniales en Aguadas, Caldas, las diversas significaciones de la conmemoración del 12 de Octubre en Latinoamérica, las metáfora de Colombia como una sociedad enferma en clave patrimonial, o las diversas manifestaciones del patrimonio funerario en Iberoamérica. El conjunto de manuscritos es creativo, representativo y crítico de nuestra realidad patrimonial contemporánea.
This book aims to explore the scope of ethnographic research in the field of cultural heritage. It does so from exercises located in different places and contexts that, as a result of field research and reflections on practices and concepts, proposes new paths and perspectives to investigate the relationship between social actors and the manifestations of cultural heritage. The volume presents a diversity of works from Ibero-America, which explore how inheritance takes place and makes sense from the position of its makers. At the same time, it proposes methodological routes that complement the scope of inventories and lists, more conventional
work tools in heritage studies. The works of the authors cross several topics: from Shamanism and the re-enchantment of the world in Spain, or the living manifestations of a golden beam and a path that walks as cultural entities in Boyacá, passing through the songs of work in the dairy farm of the eastern plains, the conflicts between the legislation and the maintenance of heritage assets in Aguadas, Caldas, the various meanings of the commemoration of October 12 in Latin America, the metaphor of Colombia as a sick society in a heritage key, or the multiple manifestations of the funerary heritage in Latin America. The set of manuscripts is creative, representative and critical of our contemporary heritage reality.
