Pushing them from sun up to sundown 6days a week. Their dad Robert Bruce was a descendant of a Scottish clan and was determined to get his family out of their poor living conditions. Following his American dream, Robert Bruce broke away from the farm by creating a profitable business that was in demand during the Great Depression.
