This collection of essays was written over a period of years by AleXander Hirka and Tammy Remington who are partners in life and art. Regardless of anyone's opinions or beliefs, the authors feel this is a crucially important issue that cannot be stressed enough. These are not two voices shouting in the wilderness as more and more people are coming to realize the inhumanity of this pointless and barbaric surgery being done to baby boys. Many other well-informed and highly articulate advocates are working throughout the United States to end the cutting of nonconsenting infant boys' genitals. Here we add our voices to this growing chorus. Our biggest hope in bringing these writings together is that these ideas go beyond any choir we may have been preaching to, and reach the minds and hearts of prospective parents-maybe through informed friends who share this with them-and begin to reverse this barbaric practice, one child at a time.
