Hitler invaded Poland on 1st September 1939. His aim: to destroy Poland and its people for whom he held an intense hatred and considered 'subhuman'.

Stalin invaded Poland on 17th September 1939. His aim: to deport the 'bourgeoise' to the frozen plains of Siberia. His hatred for them based on class.
