Life is a beautiful experience holding such wonder and possibilities. It's truly a gift from God. Nevertheless we all experience setbacks, ordeals, pain, heartache, sickness, and yes, even death. God did not cause these things to happen; still, He is forever there continually offering strength, love, and courage to see us through. If you allow Him, He will pick you up, hold you close, and heal your broken life.
The secret is to not let the hard times defeat you or keep you from the beauty of life and unconditional love of God. Without His help and constant love, I would not have been able to endure some of the trials that were put in my path.
God waits silently for us to reach out to Him. He will not force His way into our life or alter our free will. He leaves the choice up to each of us. When you allow God to guide and strengthen you, you will win. We are all blessed even in the middle of our hardships. The secret is not to let those times keep you from the love God offers and the gifts God has in store for you.
I chose God and a new life. I pray you will also choose Him and your new life. I assure you it is not the end, not the end of my story or your story. Never stop looking for the rainbow in every storm. It's there, it's real. It's the power and love of God through His Holy Spirit.
