Knowing God

Through a careful thought process, Rudolf Steiner gifts us with a renewed understanding of reverent devotion. We come to know its two sides, namely, the feeling of love united with the will activity of surrender. When reverent devotion is truly cultivated in the soul, as described in this lecture, it can lead thinking human beings toward all that they seek to know and understand. If our approach to knowing can be warmed through and led toward the divine with true reverent devotion, the potentially cold intellect can be transformed.
