Little Guide to Pet Peeves: An Autistic's Take

First written as a series of blogs before and during lockdown, I have expanded it in several areas - it is a growing and evolving project. Following my unfashionably late ASD and ADHD diagnosis in my sixties, I realised how pertinent some of this was to the strong dislikes and aversions I and my fellow autists experience. The problems of working out how to put on a duvet cover, for instance, probably comes under gross motor skills. The textures and tastes of certain edibles or the flashing GIFS are examples of our sensory sensibilities.It was written in good spirit and I own up to (probably) being in possession of many an annoying little turns of phrase or traitsas the next person.
