About

Adele has spent the last two years desperately searching for her missing father, following every clue she can find across the frontier. Her search finally leads her to Montana-but before she can continue her journey, a tragic accident leaves her injured and suffering from temporary amnesia.

Confused and unable to remember who she is, Adele is swept into an unexpected marriage to rugged cowboy Jayce, a man she has never met and certainly never intended to wed.

Jayce, overwhelmed by the demands of ranch life and in desperate need of help managing his home, reluctantly agrees to a practical mail-order marriage arranged by the pastor's wife. At first, everything appears to be working out perfectly. Adele is kind, capable, and fits naturally into ranch life. But the fragile peace between them shatters when Adele suddenly regains her memory-and remembers she never intended to stay.

Still determined to find her father, Adele proposes a bargain: she will remain as Jayce's wife temporarily if he agrees to help her continue the search. Once her father is found, they will quietly end their marriage and go their separate ways.

But as the two work side by side through the hardships of frontier life, their practical arrangement begins to feel far more real than either expected. Feelings deepen, walls come down, and both Adele and Jayce begin to question whether a marriage that started by accident might actually have been part of a greater plan all along.
