In this tale of consequences and redemption, Malintzin is an Aztec princess until she's sold into slavery to the invading Spanish. As one of Hernán Cortés' slaves, she is faced with the decision of siding with her people who sold her into slavery, or Cortés as he attempts to overthrow the Aztecs.
