The year is 2124, and the world's population has been divided into two groups: infected and non-infected. Race, ethnicity, and nationality no longer matter. When a medical mishap leaves noninfected, Cara Rodriguez, a single mother to an infected son, her life is forever altered. Her son can't live in the noninfected world, and infected clans won't accept Cara in theirs.
