It has been said and rightly so that the greatest problem with the Christian church throughout the centuries has been an identity crisis- we are not sure who we are. The church as an institution is inseparable from western culture, and yet a true theological, biblical, and prophetic understanding of the church is all too often beyond our understanding. Who we are. Why are we here. What our place is in history. These questions few Christians seem to understand.
