About

In the year 1485, a frenzy of destruction swept through Germany. Fear of magic and sorcery hung in the air like a black cloud. Everywhere, the disturbed people perceived witches and sorcerers, spells, and evil. Bonfires burned constantly, devouring by the hundreds the innocent or guilty victims whom the wicked trials handed over to the executioners, opening a vast and fertile field for wickedness and personal hatred.
Eleanor, of dazzling beauty and delicate, classical countenance, is accused of witchcraft and condemned to the stake, only to be spared the torment through a sinister pact made with Master Leonardo, a mysterious figure possessed of enormous powers.
Naema, the witch, or the legend of the wax statue, survives the passage of centuries and passes down from generation to generation the story of Master Leonardo, his victim Eleanor, and the great victory won by good against the forces of the abyss.
