Herbert Wood was born in Bethnal Green in 1910. He left school at the age of fourteen, and started up a small furniture business with his brother.
Old Charm For Ever is the story of his struggles and battles to make Wood Bros. - makers of the famous Old Charm Furniture - into a thriving and successful business, and holder of the Queen's Award for Industry.
