Prostitutes are disappearing. Their bodies are discovered cold, dead, and mutilated days later. It isn't until one of the girl's mothers fights for justice that the case falls on the desk of Detective Maverick Wolfe and his partner Detective Harris Bishop. They quickly discover that a serial killer has been working under their noses for months, maybe even years, and the murders had been swept under the rug so as not to televise the city's seedy side. As the two detectives track down their killer, it becomes apparent that a specialized unit is needed to deal with serial killers and mass murder cases, both cold and current. Joining Detectives Maverick Wolfe and Harris Bishop are five brilliant Detectives with a sea of knowledge as well as an upstanding forensic team.
