Every journey is accompanied by questions, anxiety and doubts, including a Christian's spiritual journey. That journey begins with curiosity, is followed by discovery and, along the narrow road, when everything falls into place, there is peace, joy and hope.
Human beings are wired to probe, to debate, and to be skeptical, so a journey into the spiritual world, into a dimension that can only be sensed, not quantified or measured, can be a challenge. While the journey has a handbook, the Bible, and the testimony of countless believers over many generations, it is still an individual's personal adventure. As a Christian traveler myself, I can attest that the journey is worth every step, for true wonder and true awe await.
"Be strong and courageous and do not be afraid or intimidated," the prophet Joshua recorded. On your journey-on the way home-the edges will become softer, the questions will become fewer, and the doubts will fade, giving way to a confidence in salvation that can only be born of faith.
